Diamond earrings for Meg and Susan

Susan's asymmetrical floral drop earrings.

Meg's diamond hoops.

An array of their diamonds, both in and out of their original settings.
It is a great honor to help clients reinvent an inherited engagement ring, but what about when the client has 8!? Susan and her daughter Meg came to us with a host of engagement rings, brooches and loose diamonds which had been passed down from Susan’s great grandmother and great grandfather, who had owned a jewelry store in West Virginia. When the store closed, all of their children were given the leftover stock, most of which sat unworn for many years.
Susan and Meg wanted to each create special earrings to mark milestone birthdays in their respective lives, but both women have very different styles. Meg was looking for a cool and modern hoop while Susan wanted something delicate and dangling. We landed on a bezel set infinity hoop for Meg and a classic but contemporary pair of asymmetrical floral drops for Susan. We like to think that Susan’s great grandmother and grandfather would be pleased to see these jewels reinvented for the 21st century, don’t you?
