A very fine quality silver coin depicting a lion’s head on one side and a Triskele on the other side, dating ca. 380-360 B.C, during the reign of Perikles, the last dynast of Lycia. The Triskele is actually an ancient Celtic symbol said to represent cycles and progress. We are partial to the lion’s head side though- it’s a studio favorite!
