Client Consultant

Remote 3 month part time freelance role with the opportunity to advance to a part time or full time in-person role at our NYC studio.

What you’ll do at Spur
  • Conduct phone consultations with clients.
  • Become a product expert, providing fit, style and gift recommendations to clients.
  • Problem solve and conceptualize designs with client materials.
  • Compose written proposals and communicate with clients throughout their projects with us.
  • Communicate with our production team throughout your client’s process.
Requirements
  • Reliable (and relatively quiet) phone & internet access.
  • Minimum availability of 10 hours per week during business hours Eastern time.
  • Fine jewelry client services experience.
About you
  • You’re experienced in fine jewelry and love working with clients, but are looking for more opportunities to be creative.
  • You have a deep appreciation for all things vintage, antique and estate jewelry.
  • You have a growing interest in sustainability and recycling.
  • You generally enjoy talking on the phone.
  • You’re comfortable and compassionate discussing jewelry with clients around all kinds of milestones, not limited to, but including: death, miscarriage, divorce, and illness.
  • You’re a great communicator and confident in your verbal and written correspondence.
  • You’ve taken a look at our work and align with our overall aesthetic vision.
  • You have a collaborative mindset and like working with a team.
  • You’re comfortable in fast paced environment with a variety of tasks from small to high impact.

Jewelry Artist

  • Hand render jewelry designs in pencil, marker, and/or gouache.
  • Become an expert in our in-house design guidelines, products, and aesthetic.
  • Make artful design decisions within various project scopes.
  • Write thoughtful descriptions of your designs.
  • Attend design team meetings.
Requirements
  • Jewelry rendering experience and portfolio examples.
  • A minimum of 5-8 hours a week of availability.
  • Ability to deliver hand-renderings on a consistent weekly schedule.
  • Fine jewelry production experience or fine jewelry client services experience.

Logistics Coordinator

This is an in-person part time, entry level role with the opportunity to advance to full time at our NYC headquarters.

What you’ll do at Spur
  • Prepare finished jewelry for shipping, including creating labels & weighing packages.
  • Maintain a database for tracking packages.
  • Organize client materials.
  • Create, send, and follow up on invoices.
Requirements
  • Tech savvy with a positive attitude about learning new software and systems.
  • Organized & detail oriented.
  • Comfortable working independently or collaborating with a team.
  • High degree of responsibility and ownership over your work.
Bonuses
  • Prior experience in retail, wholesale, production, or operations.
  • Capable in Adobe Photoshop, Airtable, and/or Shopify.
