Shipping & Logistics Lead
We are looking to hire an experienced, tech savvy, Shipping & Logistics Lead. This is a part time or full time role, in-person (NYC).
What you’ll do at Spur
- Own the shipping process from start to finish including developing best practices.
- Communicate with clients to coordinate and confirm their shipping details and provide tracking.
- Maintain an up-to-date shipping calendar.
- Create shipping labels for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain inventory and re-orders for all packaging materials.
- Beautifully package each project with focus and care.
- Complete a highly detail oriented final quality assurance check.
- Follow a safety protocol for shipments ensuring each shipment is 100% complete.
- Track all of our incoming and outgoing packages daily, communicating directly with FedEx, our insurance provider, and clients as needed to resolve issues
- Use your judgment, expertise, and discretion to solve a wide range of issues that may arise.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Fine Jewelry or Luxury Goods.
- Minimum availability of 15 hours per week during business hours in-person M-F in Flatiron, NYC.
- Minimum availability of 1-2 hours per week remote weekend hours.
- Excellent command of shipping procedures and standard protocols.
