Izzy brought us a single cufflink she and her mom discovered going through her late father’s jewelry box.
It was a bit mysterious, as there was only one remaining from the original set, and it represented both her father’s and grandfather’s initials. In my opinion, these are some of the qualities of the perfect type of piece to renovate - unwearable, sentimental, and symbolic (with a dash of mystery).

We carefully disassembled the cufflink findings, and converted the initials into a graphic necklace. The letters are abstracted on Izzy’s collar bone and look almost like wings or arrows. We love the way this turned out.
