Baby Tooth Charm

$1,200

A modern charm inspired by Victorian milk tooth jewelry. A organic bombé bezel follows the profile of your baby tooth transforming it into a beautiful, eclectic, fine jewelry charm. The back of the tooth is enclosed in solid gold, with ample room for a small engraving.  Tiny prongs help to follow the contour of the tooth and hold it securely into the setting. An exaggerated oval loop at the top of the charm makes the charm versatile for a variety of charm holders and chains.

Each baby tooth jewel is designed and handcrafted with special consideration for the unique shape of the tooth itself. We treat teeth as if they are gemstones in our designs, and no two teeth are identical.

To help you envision your specific baby tooth in one of our designs, we will send you a custom sketch with the design personalized for the proportions of your exact tooth. If you provide multiple teeth, we can select the best tooth for the design.

Can I use my own gold and gemstones in my baby tooth project?

Yes! We're happy to talk through using your own gold in your baby tooth project or incorporating your heirloom gemstones. We can also source a variety of gemstones for you including birthstones. Cabochons, especially turquoise, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds all look especially beautiful with baby teeth.

Can you make a puppy tooth charm?

Yes! We do offer puppy tooth, molar, and other tooth jewelry. Please contact us for customized pricing.

How do I mail in my baby tooth?

After you place your order, we will send you an insured shipping label and packaging instructions to send your tooth to our studio.

How long does it take to make the charm?

Our baby tooth charms take approximately 8 weeks to create in our NYC studio.

Is baby tooth jewelry durable?

Baby teeth can be brittle, however many pieces of Victorian tooth jewelry are still in beautiful condition. Bone is a strong material and with proper care can last for generations. We set each tooth in a very protective setting and advise against wearing these pieces when they may be exposed to chemicals such as in the water.
