Laurie had recently unset a pair of emeralds from an heirloom ring for another piece and was inspired to use them for bold statement earrings. We incorporated her stockpile of sentimental inherited birthstones including, amethysts, rubies, diamonds and sapphires to create these long slightly asymmetrical dangly studs. Laurie told us her goal was to have earrings that made everyone say “WOW!” and I think we nailed it.
