A Bangle for Mindy

Mindy came to us after we completed a project for her daughter to see what we might be able to do with a vintage dress watch that had belonged to her mother. She once lost it and then luckily rediscovered it in a plastic bin -- a sure sign that it was not living up to its potential!

We used the diamonds from a section of the watch bracelet to create a playful color blocked bangle with a hand fabricated hinge. Creating mechanisms is a fun technical challenge that we love to nerd out over.
